The 2019 Seminole Turnpike Series was another great success. Moreno held the chip lead at the final table when the last seven players decided to make a deal to divide up the remaining prize pool. He took the $30,187 top prize and earned his first recorded tournament win.

COCONUT CREEK, Fla. (January 7, 2019) – Seminole Casino Coconut Creek will be hosting the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit, February 7-18.
The 12-day series will award 13 of the global tour’s gold ring trophies including one for the $1,700 buy-in, $1 million guaranteed Main Event. Additionally, two players from the festival will earn entry into the WSOP’s season-ending Global Casino Championship, where they will compete for a prize pool worth more than $1 million.
This marks the fourth time the globally-recognized brand will make its home at a Seminole property in South Florida. Each of the previous three (at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood in September of 2017, as well as at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek in February and September of 2018) saw poker enthusiasts turn out in droves with all Main Events easily beating their $1 million guarantees.
Co-headlining the 2019 event will be a $300,000 guaranteed, $400 buy-in opening tournament. Catering to working professionals and poker travelers alike, the event will afford players the opportunity to buy into one of two flights on Friday, February 8 or Saturday, February 9. Those who advance past the first day of play will return Sunday to compete for a six-figure prize pool.
Updates from the event will be available all series long on CasinoCoco.com/Poker as well as WSOP.com.
Other notable tournaments on the schedule include a $400 Monster Stack with a $100,000 guarantee and a $3,250 High Roller with a $100,000 guarantee.
Until Friday, February 8 at 11:59 p.m., players will have the opportunity to win a $1,700 seat into the Main Event via an online contest at CasinoCoco.com.
